With Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj has delivered a good action entertainer that, to some extent, is predictable. Kamal Haasan portrays the role of martyred cop Prapanchan's father. While Vijay Sethupathi plays a ruthless villain. 

The action sequences are well choreographed. The subplot involving Kamal Hassan and Prapanchan’s baby adds to the emotional portion. 

All these elements make Vikram a decent one-time watch that could have been better.
