1. Shehar Lakhot

The show revolves around a man who is compelled to return to his hometown, the made-up town of Lakhot, to face his past. It is set in the fictional small marble mining town of Lakhot. According to the official synopsis, he inadvertently gets drawn into a lethal game while the city itself turns into a hazardous battleground for interested parties, each with their own ulterior motives.

2. Obliterated

Obliterated is a thriller, action web series in which an ‘elite team’ is assembled from various ‘US armed forces’ branches to diffuse the bombs set up in Las Vegas by a terrorist network. They successfully completed the mission but later realised that the bombs were fake. Now, they had to find the actual bombs and neutralize them. But the twist is that all the team members are intoxicated on drugs, sex and alcohol during the after-party. Will they be able to save the city and the innocent people from getting killed? This upcoming web series is highly awaited among the viewers.

3. Dhootha

"Dhootha" tells the terrifying story of Sagar, an investigative journalist whose life takes a terrible turn after he discovers the sinister truths concealed in newspapers that predicted terrible incidents. When faced with the harsh truth, he turns into a murder suspect and must work quickly to clear his name while dodging dangerous threats.

4. The Freelancer: The Conclusion

The plot of the series revolves around an ex-cop who has now turned into a freelance spy, open to taking up new assignments for payment. As per the storyline, the freelancer gets hired to find a girl who is stuck in an ISIS camp in Syria. Later, it turns out that the girl he was on a mission to trace out is actually the daughter of his close friend. This is when it becomes a personal mission for him to accomplish. The series' first season concluded with four episodes while the mission was still in progress. Viewers of the series have been anticipating the final part will unravel the final leg of the journey to locate Aliya. This is a must watch in the list of upcoming web series.

5. Berlin    

Berlin series is a spin-off of the popular Spanish show ‘Money Heist’. Berlin is one of the most loved characters of Money Heist, and this web series showcases his life and journey along the way with Professor (the mastermind behind Money Heist). Berlin is the half-brother of Professor, which came as a shocking yet happy surprise for the viewers. 

After the massive popularity of the character of Berlin among the audience, the makers decided to create a spin-off series of Berlin alone as the character died in the ‘Money Heist’ show.

6. Patal Lok Season 2 

The first season is one of the most-watched and loved web series on Amazon Prime, and now the official announcement has been made for the second season. It is all about Hathiram Chowdhary, who is a police officer and will continue his role as the audience loved the performance and wanted more from him. 

The official announcement has been made, but no release date has been shared. We are expecting the same sooner in 2023. This is one of the most awaited upcoming web series 2024.

7. Mirzapur Season 3 

As we all know, Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood and has received lots of appreciation for Akhandanand Tripathi, aka Kaleen Bhaiya, in the Mirzapur web series. The second season was released in October 2021, and it is also a massive success and one of the most-watched series in Indian history. 

The Mirzapur Season 3 is one of the most awaited upcoming web series on Amazon Prime. As per the actor, the story has been written, and the shooting is about to start. We expect that the third season will be released in 2023. After the death of Munna, we are eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

8. The Family Man Season 3

The Family Man season is one of the most-watched web series on Amazon Prime, as Manoj Bajpayee nailed, therefore, as Srikant in both seasons. Recently Amazon Prime Announced its new upcoming web series. The third season is on the way, and we all are waiting for the same. 

As of now, we have no official details for the release date or trailer. It is the most awaited in the list of upcoming web series 2023-24.

9. Indian Police Force 

Indian Police Force is an upcoming action web series starring Sidharth Malhotra, Isha Talwar and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. This series captures the life of a dedicated IPS officer, SP Kabir Malik, who can go upto any lengths to track down the mastermind behind a series of bomb blasts that took place in the country. This is among the top upcoming web series for the year 2024.

10. NaxalBari Season 2

It is a Hindi web series that revolves around the Naxal movement in India and its main effects on the ordinary citizens of India. Rajiv Khandelwal plays the lead role in the first season and the second. He was sent for an undercover mission to a Naxal hotspot called Gadchiroli. 

The director and Zee5 have given no official date, but we expect this web series to be released in 2024, and the first season of this web series ended with suspense, which indicates that season 2 will come. This upcoming web series 2024 is a must watch.

11. The Test Case Season 2 

The Test Case is an Indian web series that tells the story of a woman who works in specific forces in the Defense zone. Season one was quite successful. The second season also features Nimrit Kaur in the lead role, Harleen Sethi, Juhi Chawla, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, Anup Soni, and more. Although the release date has not yet been announced, you can expect the series to release soon. This is among the most awaited in the list of upcoming web series.

12. Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein Season 2

 

Netflix has already announced the second season of the Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein, and the complete star cast is coming to entertain us again. The show became immensely popular and remains among the top 10's on the streaming platform. 

Tahir Raj Bhasin shared a video on his social media platform that the second is coming. However, we have no details for the release date, but we expect the same at the end of 2023. It is one of the most awaited Indian upcoming web series for 2023.

13. Soup

Soup is the story of an incompetent cook who wants to have a restaurant of her own. Her husband doesn't believe in her and is always suspicious of her. Fate allows her to fulfil her dreams, but things don't go as planned. This upcoming web series is a must-watch for classic cinema fans.

14. Heeramandi 

One of the famous Hindi filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali who recently marked 25 years in the industry, will be a parpartner Netflix for his upcoming Indian web series named Heeramandi, a District in Lahore in Pre-Independence India. 

As per Bhansali, it is one of the critical web series in his journey. The director is known for making films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Guzaarish, Padmavaat, etc. Further, they are unavailable, but we expect this upcoming web series to come in 2023.

15. Class season 2 

One of the best upcoming web series 2023. 3 teenagers from economic class backgrounds got a scholarship to a prestigious international school in Delhi. Will they be able to adjust to the dynamics of the new school and the turmoil it holds? Or will they be creating new dynamics of their own?

16. Decoupled Season 2 

The first season of Decoupled was released on December 17th, 2021, and now we are all waiting for the second one. Decoupled centres around a wealthy couple who decides to separate after being in a loveless marriage.

But their divorce decision brings their close friends and family relationship issues to light. The comedy series includes R. Madhavan, Surveen Chawla, Sonia Rathee, Dilnaz Irani, Darren E. Scott, and Shrutee Choudhary. Now we are waiting for the second season. This upcoming web series has high hopes from the audience.

Delhi Crime series captures the investigation of the police force to unravel the truth behind horrendous crimes. Both fictional and actual life events inspire it. It was the most awaited in the list of upcoming Web series 2023.

18. Kota Factory season 3

1. Fargo: Season 5 

Fargo is a thriller, crime, and comedy-drama series that captures the various chronicles of murder, revenge, and deception in and around Fargo, North Dakota. The seasons involve different time periods and police officers solving the cases. The show has 4 seasons so far, and the 5th season is coming soon in November 2023.

2. Aarya season 3 

This top-rated drama first season was released in 2020, with Sushmita Sen as the lead character. It is the story of a widow and one of the murderers who killed her husband. The narrative continues from our breakup with Aarya at the conclusion of the last season. She was now a powerful presence in the underworld. She killed her own biological father without hesitation, and it appears that she is now in control of the situation that puts her life in danger in a world where gangsters and crime are intertwined. "Aarya Sareen is a fierce new dawn for herself. She is making great strides and writing her own narrative in Season 3, free from the constraints of her past."

3. Adhura

The story is set in an elite boarding school in Delhi. Adhura is a supernatural horror- thriller web series taking a dark turn in every episode.

4. Kohrra

A London-based NRI is found dead in the mustard fields days before his wedding. The bride is upset at the loss of her would-be husband. The best friend of the dead NRI, a Britisher, is missing. Multiple characters are acting shady.

Kohrra means 'fog'. Could it mean that the truth is hiding in front of the eyes all along? The personal lives of police officers also get involved. Would they still go for easy targets as usual or try to find the absolute truth?

5. The Trial 

This is a legal crime drama starring Kajol as an ex-advocate who once again puts on the black coat to save his husband, who is a judge, from the scandal of corruption and sex. She takes help from her college friend to start her career again from scratch. 

It is an adaptation of Robert King and Michelle King's 'The Good Wife'. This legal drama keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.

6. College Romance Season 4

8. Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi 

 

After the success of Scam 1992, Hansal Mehta, the director, is all set to return with the next season called Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi. He has done the most significant scam by printing fake stamp paper. 

The web series will show the rise and fall of this man from Khanapur in Karnataka and how he pulled off one of the most ingenious scams that spread across multiple states. The release date for the same is not out yet, but we are expecting the same in January 2023. The total scam value is nearly Rs. 20,000 Crores.

9. Made in Heaven Season 2 

The first season of this web series was released on 8 March 2019, and the audience loved it. This Indian web series, Made In Heaven, depicts modern-day India as a mash-up of old and new, colliding with traditional and modern values. Every episode introduces a new family, a new wedding, and glimpses of the leading duo's lives with the recurring employees of the wedding management company. Critics have described it as a powerful story about human nature and larger socioeconomic forces in Delhi.

10. Trial By Fire

The restricted series portrays their vast trials and chasing justice for more than 24 years while looking at different lives touched and obliterated by the fire.

11. Scoop

Scoop is a courtroom drama starring Karishma Tanna, Mohammad Zeeshan, Ayyub, and Prosenjit Chatterjee as leads. This is the story of a crime reporter who gets stuck in the nexus of police, media and the underworld when she tries un discover the truth behind the murder of a journalist. 

The series has received lots of love from the audience and critics alike.

12. Dahaad

It is the debut web series of Sonakshi Sinha on the OTT platform; the Dahaad web series is all about a local small-town inspector on a mission to hunt down a serial killer. 

The strong storyline, brilliant acting and depth of characters have made it one of the best web series of 2023.

13. Farzi 

This Indian web series starring Shahid Kapoor has been released on Amazon Prime. It is about a small artist working out of his grandfather's press who later got the ultimate con job that suited him. 

A fiery, unorthodox task force officer has made it his mission to rid the country of the menace this poses in this fast-paced, edgy, one-of-a-kind thriller. Until now, no further information is available, but we will update if we get something related.

14. Show Stopper 

This upcoming Zee5 web series will feature Shweta Tiwari, Sourabh Raj Jain, Rohit Roy, Kanwaljit Singh, and more, and it is an upcoming project of Shweta Tiwari. Shweta became a household name from the Star Plus 2001 TV serial Kasauti Zindagi Kay, in which she played the lead role of Prerna Sharma.

The show went on air for 7 years and became one of the longest-running shows on Star Plus, which ended in 2008. As of now, we have no official details about the release date.

15. Taj Season 2

The second season of TAJ's plot is referred to in the trailer's description. "15 years after being banished, Salim is on a perilous quest to seek revenge for his lost love," it says. Will his furious rage destroy the Mughal dynasty or bring in a new one? More people are waiting than ever before!

Anjali Bhaati is investigating a series of murders in which the bodies of murdered women were found in public bathrooms. The killings first appear to be suicides, but as the investigation progresses, Bhaati learns that a severe murderer is still at large.
