• First, visit  Airtel Thanks App or visit the website by clicking here. 

• Entry the country you are visiting.

• Enter your mobile number, and you will get the list of packs available for the entered country.

• Go to the app and select the international roaming option in your prepaid/postpaid.

Recently, The Brand launched international roaming voice packs for its prepaid customers called “Foreign Pass. The roaming packs will be priced from 196, the telecom company said in the recent Press Release.

 

The Airtel Foreign Pass packs will be available for 20 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar. Starting at the low at 169, these voice call packs are available for the most popular travel destinations. They are amazed at offering travelers the convenience of keeping in touch with their friends and family instantly. 

 

The new packs, Airtel said, will be priced at ₹ 196 for 20 mins, ₹ 296 for 40 minutes, and ₹ 446 for 75 mins. With these packs’ help, Airtel prepaid customers will make and receive free local calls and outgoing calls to India, which is quite impressive. 

 

How to Activate Airtel Prepaid International Roaming Packs

The customer is required to recharge their prepaid connection to activate the international roaming pack.  Activate Airtel Roaming via App, My Airtel App, or the official website. 

 

The recharge packs are available for 20 countries, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, Bahrain, China, Canada, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, France, Netherlands, and Thailand more.

Yes, this service is available for postpaid and prepaid customers. 

Postpaid customers can book Airtel’s international roaming packs now and get charged for it only when they travel abroad.  If you have opted for 10 days today and travel after 2 months, you will be charged only on that amount of travel. 

 

Prepaid customers can book the pack upto 30 days before the actual date of travel. Pack validity will start only once the customer is latched on to the international network (within 30 days of pack purchase).

Yes, you can track benefits, usage, and validity on Airtel Thanks App anytime during your travel. Prepaid users can track all their usage in real-time. 

Postpaid customers will be able to track their data and pack validity in real-time. 

 

Do I Get Unlimited Incoming calls in my international Roaming Pack?

Airtel has developed new global packs, which cover the most traveled countries. This would allow seamless travel across the world with just one pack.

Travel Basics – Global Packs for prepaid customers –

Rs 1199 – 1 GB data, 100 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls to India and host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 30 days.

Rs 799 – 100 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls to India and host country and unlimited incoming SMS for 30 days.

Rs 4999 – 1 GB / day data, unlimited incoming calls, 500 minutes of outgoing calls to India and host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 10 days.

 

Terms and Conditions for IR Postpaid and Prepaid 

•  Monthly rental with International Roaming (IR) pack.

•  There is no need to deactivate the IR pack after coming back from abroad.

•  No manual network selection is needed as packs are applicable across all operators in the covered countries.

•  These Discounted rates are applicable only on local calls within the country visited and calls back to India.

•  Customers can switch off the data services from their mobile handset if they don’t wish to use mobile internet while roaming.

•  There are Multiple top-ups that customers can purchase as per user requirements and budget. 

•  For customers visiting multiple countries, discounted benefits will be applicable in all the countries mentioned for the pack.

•  No security deposit is required to activate the International Roaming service in India. 

•  Airtel reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer without prior notice.

•  The day the deactivation request is received, no discount is applicable for that day.

•  After free minutes or data consumption, reduced rates will apply as per the pack selected by customers.

•  IR packs for company-paid connections cannot be activated online or through SMS/USSD/IVR, and customers need to contact their company coordinator for activation of the pack.

•  These Free minutes are valid only in IR usage and cannot be used for local/STD/ISD/another roaming usage.
