Netflix is soon going to launch long-term subscription plans in India. The long-term subscription of Netflix will be available for three, six, and twelve months. The long term plans of the streaming platform are still in the testing phase. The new plans are available for select users. Recently, a screenshot of the long-term subscription plans was shared by a user on Twitter. Netflix's new plans will be available for 3, 6, and 12 months subscription with up to 50% off.

Netflix 3-Month Subscription Plan

With the launch of '3-month plan', users can enjoy three months of premium subscription at Rs. 1,919. Currently, the three-month charge of the Netflix premium plan is Rs. 2,397. India is one of the key international markets for the streaming giant in the future. 

Netflix 6-Month Plan

The long term plans bring down the price of a 6-month subscription to Rs. 3,359. Currently, the cost of a 6-month subscription os Netflix costs Rs. 4,794. 

Meanwhile, the streaming platform is planning to spend Rs. 3,000 on content programming in India. The announcement was made by Netflix Chief executive, Read hasting at an event in Delhi. 

Netflix 12-month Plan

The 12-month plan of Netflix will be available at Rs. 4,799. with the introduction, the users get to enjoy a 12-month subscription of the streaming platform at a whopping 50% off. 

Netflix Current Subscription Plans in India

Currently, the company is offering subscription plans starting Rs. 199 in India. The Rs. 199 plan of the company was launched earlier this year for mobile users. While the basic plan costs Rs. 499 for one-month.

The company also has a standard plan at Rs. 649. The most expensive of the plans is Netflix Premium that costs Rs. 799/month. With Netflix Premium users get ultra HD content on up to 4 devices. 

 

Netflix is making efforts to lure the price-conscious Indian market. Netflix is one of the most expensive streaming services in the country.
