1. Jio Fiber 30-day Free Trial Plus Free access to 10 OTT services
Jio has introduced new Fiber broadband plans starting at Rs. 399. The company is also providing a 30-day free trial for new customers. During the free trial, users get up to 150Mbps speed, free voice calling, a 4k set-top box, and subscription to 10 OTT apps at no extra cost.
This free trial is applicable to all new customers. If the user doesn't like the service there is an option to disconnect the service at any time. Jio is offering no-condition 30-day free trial.
To opt for the 4k set-top-box during the trial period Jio will charge Rs. 2,500 security deposit. While those users who don't opt for set-top need to pay a deposit of Rs. 1,500. Free access to OTT apps will only be for users who opt for set-top-box.
The 10 OTT apps include Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, Alt Balaji, Sun NXT, Shemaroo, Lionsgate Play, and Hoichoi.

2. Flipkart Starts wholesale e-commerce service for Kiranas, MSMEs
Flipkart has launched a new marketplace for Kiranas and small sellers. Flipkart Wholesale is now serving Delhi, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. The operations have started with fashion. Flipkart is expected to expand the service to other categories as well.
Flipkart wholesale app is now available for Android users. Eligible sellers and Kiranas can get products delivered at their shops. Flipkart is offering up to 15 days of credit with the Easy Credit Benefit. If you are a seller or Kirana owner, you can check eligibility

3. Redmi 9A Launch in India
Xiaomi has launched its new budget smartphone in India. The entry-level smartphone is powered by Helio G25 Chipset. It comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ Display and a 13MP camera on the device. There is a 5MP camera on the front.
Redmi 9A has a 5000mAh battery. It is available in two storage variants of 2GB/32GB and 3GB/32GB priced at Rs. 6,799 and Rs. 7,499. The device will be available on Amazon starting 4th September at 12-noon.

4. Redmi Earphones Launch at Rs. 399
Xiaomi has launched new wired earphones in India. Redmi Earphones are priced at Rs. 399. The earphones will go on sale starting September 7, 2020, on Flipkart, Amazon India, and other retail stores. You get to choose from three colour options - Red, Blue & Black. The earphone weighs only 13 grams. There is an inbuilt HD microphone for calls. The wired earphones come with mesh anti-earwax silicone earplugs.
The 1.25-meter Y-shaped cable promises to deliver a convenient experience while listening to music or making calls. The in-ear earphones are ergonomically designed to fit your ear canals. The main body is made of precision aluminium alloy. The small finishing touches give a premium look to the earphones.

5. Paytm Mall is Testing New Group Buying Feature
Paytm Mall is testing a new group buying feature called Paytm Bang. The feature is currently available for select customers. Bang allows customers to come together to buy a product for discounts and offers.
Users can select a product from the Paytm app and share the link with friends. The user needs at least two more buyers for the same product for the offer. The discount is dependent on the number of people buying a particular product.
In recent time, Paytm Mall has been trying several new features such as social commerce, mini-program, and group buying. Other e-commerce companies such as Grofers have also tried group buying in 2018.
6. Amazon introduces AI-powered wearable Device Halo
Amazon has introduced its AI-powered wearable device Halo. Amazon Halo Band is different from other smartwatches and wearables. The band does not have a screen. It provides AI-powered health and wellness insights to users.
Customers in the U.S get early access to Amazon Halo Band for a special price of $64,99. The AI-powered fitness band is expected to launch in India soon. If you are planning to buy a fitness band, you can put your purchase on hold to wait for Amazon Halo.
7. Edict by Boat Affordable Audio Products Launch on Amazon
Boat has launched a new sub-brand, called Edict. The products of Edict have been launched on Amazon. Edict Audio products start from as low as Rs. 299. If you are looking to buy affordable earphones or headphones, then the wide range of audio products from Edict is worth considering.
Edict wired earphones are priced at Rs. 299, while wireless neckband earphones cost Rs. 999. Other products include wireless speakers, wireless headphones and truly wireless earphones.

8. Paytm Payments Bank Now Provides Banking Services Through Aadhaar
Paytm Payments Bank has enabled banking service via Aadhaar card. With this service, Paytm Payments Bank customers will be able to access banking services through the business correspondent of any banking or financial institution.
The Payments Bank has made available services such as cash withdrawal, balance, enquiry, and mini statements. Other services such as cash deposit and interbank fund transfer will be made available soon. The service is aimed to benefit people in rural and semi-urban areas who have limited access to bank branches and ATMs.
With AePS, consumers can operate their bank account using biometrics. The system is also used for disbursements of government schemes such as NREGA, old-age pension, social security pension etc.
Paytm Payments Bank has partnered with over 10,000 business correspondents for facilitating Aadhaar card-based transactions. To do a transaction using Aadhaar-enabled Payments System (AePS), Aadhaar number and fingerprint of the customer are needed.
The maximum amount per transaction is Rs. 10,000. For cash withdrawal, there is a monthly limit of 10 transactions or Rs. 50,000.
