The movie starts in 2013 and gets a flashback of 24 years. We comprehend the fearful teens of Supreme Court Advocate Noor Saxena (Princy Sudhakaran), aka Chhoti, who assures the widows of Varanasi take a fortune to observe holi, too. Why must they be denied colors and beauty, and friendship?

Khanna sets an archaic melodramatic character in his directorial appearance and supports the standard' weak victims vs. cruel villains' template. His general, directionless, and blunted story individually describes characters as black or white. There is no shade. 

The central personalities are good; the rest all are dangerous guys. There is no in-between. You discover nothing about the people past what they prefer to tell. Their calm doesn't speak. The communications, excluding a few, feel inane, lack depth and excitement. They fail to draw you in.

While the film wishes to make about a positive change and gender equality, the story retains portraying women as quiet victims and sacrificers who must be calm if they wish to live quietly. The story enables little and discourages a lot more as the idle narrative does little for the generous purpose. 

Even someone as skilled as Neena Gupta fails to retrieve the story and leave a mark. She describes her overcome character seriously but seems way too uninvolved for you to feel invested.
