To activate missed alert service via USSD codes, open the dialer app on your phone and dial **62*+9117010#. You will see a pop notification on the screen. You need to confirm the selection to activate the service. 

You will instantly receive a notification that missed call service has been activated on your number. Now, you will receive message alerts whenever you miss a call due to network issues or your phone is switched off.

• Open the dialer app on your phone

• Dial **62*+9117010#

• Confirm the service activation

• You will receive a service activation message

Note: In some circles, the USSD code for BSNL missed call alert (MCA) service activation is **62*17010#. So if the above shortcode does not work, then you can try this one. 

 

2. BSNL Missed Call Activation Via Phone Settings 

While most people are aware of the USSD codes method, I think very few are aware that they can activate this service from the phone settings. This method works for most android phones, and you need to follow just simple steps that are almost the same for all manufacturers. 

Open the settings app on your smartphone and go to the call setting option. Now, tap on the call forwarding settings on your phone and select the BSNL SIM. Tap the voice option. 

Next, you need to choose the "When Unreachable" option and enter the number +9117010. Now, tap on the Turn On option. Missed alert service will be activated shortly 

• Open the settings app on your phone

• Go to call settings

• Tap on call forwarding 

• Select Voice settings under BSNL SIM

• Choose the "When Unreachable" option 

• Enter  +9117010

• Tap on turn on the option

BSNL Missed Call Alert Deactivation 

If you are already used the service and found it of little help, then you can also deactivate missed call alerts easily. Similar to activation, there the two methods for deactivation - USSD codes & phone settings. Follow any of the methods for deactivation of call alerts on your BSNL number. 

1. USSD Codes for BSNL Missed Call Alert Deactivation 

The USSD code to deactivate missed call alert on BSNL is ##002#. You need to dial the USSD code from the dialer app and approve the confirmation for deactivation. The missed call alerts will be stopped on your SIM instantly. 

• Open the dialer app on your phone

• Dial ##002# 

• Confirm the service deactivation pop-up

• Missed call alert service will be stopped 

2. Deactivate BSNL Missed Call Alert from Phone Settings 

If you have activated BSNL missed call from phone settings, then you can also deactivate it from the settings. You need to go to the call forward settings under call settings and turn it off. For this purpose, you can follow the steps below.

• Open the settings app on your phone

• Go to the call settings option

• Open the call forwarding settings

• Select BSNL SIM and tap the voice option

• Click on the “when unreachable” option

• remove the entered number +9117010

• And click on the turn-off option

• BSNL Missed alert will be deactivated on your number

Missed call alert activation is not a free service for BSNL users. You need to pay Rs. 15 per month to keep the service active. This service is chargeable for Noth Zone users; for all other circles, Missed call alert service is free.
