The movie PM Narendra Modi is just about to release. The movie will be hitting the theatres this weekend on 24th May 2019. This will be the first movie that is being produced by Suresh Oberoi. He is also the father of the lead actor Vivek Oberoi. The movie has got a lot of slack for being propaganda to the coming elections. The film also gained controversies when the poster of the movie had the name of lyricist Javed Akhtar and Sameer. Although the veteran lyricist posted “Shocked” on coming to know about this on twitter as he had written no songs for the movie. But the makers in defense said they had included previously written songs by the artist so it was their moral duty to give credits. About Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi is currently known to be the strongest figure in Indian Politics. He has a large base of followers and has been supremely involved in politics all throughout his life. Narendra Modi was born in the city of Vadnagar to a Gujarati Family. His father was a grocer while later in his age Modi also helped his father sell tea at the train station. In fact, he also had his own Tea Stall on a Bus Stand later on. Modi Joined RSS at an early age as a Junior Cadet where he met his mentor Inamdar Singh. He was also set for an arranged marriage which he rejected and ran away from his home.

He was an active member of RSS for a very long time until he was given to lead the campaigns of BJP as a Swaymsaivak. Later in the years, his strategies got the BJP seats in the elections and he made his way being the General Secretary of the Bhartiya Janta Party. In 2001, because of the poor performance and ill health of Keshubai Patel, he became the face for the CM’s seat in Gujarat where he won the election.

He began his career as the Chief Minister of earthquake faced Gujarat although, in the year 2002 again a devastating Godhra Incident happened. This was one of the most heinous incidents that happened in the history of India. The Godhra Kand were communal riots that were between two major factions in India: Hindus and Muslims. The death toll recorded by the local authorities were close to around 900(approx) but the local authorities said it was around 2000(including both Hindus and Muslims). The communal riots got the worst reputation as it was the act of Mass mutilation and rape against women.

After the incident, Narendra Modi officially sent an application to resign from his current post although his request was denied by the office. A number of allegations and cases resurfaced but he wasn’t proven guilty in the supreme court. Whenever he is asked about the incident, he often replies that the only reason he failed is because of the fact that he wasn’t able to control the media. There was also a curfew and shoot at sight orders in 26 cities but the riots escalated no matter what. Some also call this act as Communal Cleaning but whatever it was, it wasn't supposed to happen.

Although, after all that, he attained the seat of the CM in the next election where he progressed towards progress. In his next tenure, Gujarat flourished as an economically independent state and it's condition has been called the best since any time comparable. Later in 2014 he ran for the General Elections and became the Prime Minister of India. During his time he took various steps to make the Government as centralized as possible. There have been a few setbacks from his government but overall he is praised for the work he has done in his tenure. We hope the movie sheds light on both his good and his shortcomings.
