Chhappak movie is inspired from the life of Laxmi Agarwal who suffered severe Acid Attack in 2005. Deepika in the trailer is seen playing Malti a teenage girl who faces severe acid attack that changes her whole life. Malti had to face acid attack just because she rejected a guy in her neighbourhood.

The trailer puts forwad the harsh reality of our society where women has to face violence, attacks, molestation for saying no to simple things. But if you think Chhappak just revolves around Malti's acid attack or her survival or how she claims her justice then you are wrong.

The movie is a depiction of a girl fighting against all odds to live her dreams. The movie shows how a girl can bring change in the whole system.It gives goosebumps to see how strong Deepika looks playing Malti. The character is full of strength and positivity irrespective of circumstances.

Also you will find Vikrant Massey in the lead opposite to Deepika. Vikrant is playing a social activist who fights alongside of Malati to bring change for acid attack survivors. The two will be seen having good chemistry oon screen.
