1. Amazon Pay Smart Stores Allows Online Shopping Experience At Local Stores

Amazon India has begun a new initiative called Amazon Pay Smart Store, which is very similar to Google Pay Spot Platform in India. The principal goal of the service is to implement an online shopping adventure to the buyers of local brick and mortar shops.

There are many local shops across the country have now signed up as Amazon Pay Smart Stores. These include local shops like Sri Balaji Kitchens-Vishakapatnam, USHA Company Store-Jabalpur, and outlets of brands such as Big Bazaar, MedPlus and More Supermarkets. Amazon Pay has partnered with leading banks to offer customers the best value and in-store purchasing experience.

Stores under this initiative will get equipped with a unique QR code. By scanning the QR Code, buyers can know about the availability of stocks, analyse them, and even check the available offers on them. Even the buyers can request for in-store demos and related assistance.

The local shops which are willing to participate in this program will be able to give you a wide range of payment choices like UPI, debit/credit cards, EMI, and bank transfers. Also, they can run a particular bank/brand offers just like online platforms.

• Amazon Pay launched Smart Stores innovation that allows customers to shop at all local stores in India.

• Buyers can scan the store’s QR code using the Amazon app to search for the goods that are available in the store.

• The Smart Store feature provides a local shop to display its products on the Amazon app.

2. H&M Now Focus On Online Shopping Due To Loss During COVID-19

Now, you can shop your favourite brand H&M clothes, accessories, and much more from online. As due to COVID-19 situation, the company have experienced some loss, so they decided to focus more on their online shopping platform. 

Everything will be the same, but more focus on online shopping is now the main focus of H&M.  H&M’s online portal will also offer “online-only” range for men’s, teens, kids, plus-size, maternity wear and a complete collection of lingerie and accessories. You can get the same price and discounts which you get in the stores of H&M.

3. Amazon India To Set Up New Fulfillment Centres In India

Amazon India recently stated its proposal to set up 10 new fulfilment centres across Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Patna, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Chennai, and Ahmedabad as it provides up to cater to the wave in order for online shopping that’s normally seen throughout the celebratory period.

Amazon said that all its new fulfilment centres would be operational before the festive season, enabling shoppers to buy from the protection of their houses. It figured that a few of these new centres would provide to a large appliance and furniture, with abilities to manage high quantities.

JioMart has recently come up with the online grocery shopping platform of Reliance Retail Limited and Jio Platforms Limited, and now they have launched its official mobile app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for improving the shopping adventure for all its shoppers.

The app needs Android v5.0 or up and iOS 10.0 or later versions and supports two languages- English and Hindi. The JioMart app has over 100,000 downloads on the Android platform.

JioMart offers services across 200+ cities and towns across India. Using the JioMart app, shoppers can survey for their fancied goods, categories, and favourite brands across sections like fresh fruits, vegetables, staples, personal care, beverages, branded foods, snacks, home, and kitchen.
