Reliance Jio has launched a new app for its feature phone users. The JioRail app offers numerous services to passengers including booking and cancellation of train tickets. JioRail app is available to download from the app store for all Jio feature phone users.

With Reliance Jio, even the feature phone users can avoid standing in queues to book train tickets, ticket cancellation, train schedules, etc. The train tickets can be booked by using debit cards, credit cards, and e-wallets.

Tatkal Booking facility for last-minute travel plans is also available. Recently, the company had launched long validity plans for Jio Phone. It is clear that JioPhone is a major part of the future strategy of the telecom operator. 

 

Apart from ticket booking and cancellation, the app brings PNR status, train information, timings, routes, seat availability, and several other services at a click of a button.

With the all-new app, Jio phone gets smartphone-like features. Last year, the company had made available Whatsapp, Facebook, and Youtube for JioPhone users. It comes as one more addition to the feature phone. This app is free to download via Jio app store. Reliance Jio has made available this app in collaboration with IRCTC.

Jio Railway app makes train ticket booking simple. Both JioPhone & JioPhone 2 users can download the app on their phone and avail the services. To download, open the Jio app store on your phone and search for the JioRail app. Once downloaded, sign in using your existing IRCTC ID or creating a new one.

• Create a new IRCTC account: The users can sign-in on the app using existing IRCTC ID or create a new one.

• Book and cancel tickets: No need to stand in long queues for booking or cancellation of train tickets. This facility is available on the click of a button on your JioPhone.

• Train Timings: With this feature, passengers can easily stay updated to the train timings.

• Find train routes: The train routes are available on a click of a button with this all-new app for users of JioPhone & Jio Phone2.

• Check Seat availability: You can check seat availability on your feature phone as well.

• Book tatkal tickets: JioRail app also allows users to book tatkal tickets for the last minute travel plans. The tatkal tickets can be booked using debit cards, credit cards, and e-wallets.

How to Book/cancel Train Tickets on JioPhone

• Download JioRail app from the app store.

• Log in with your IRCTC account or create an account.

• Open the app on your Jio Phone.

• Select one option from train booking, PNR Status, Ticket cancellation or Train schedule.

• Enter the needed details depending on the option.

• Get all the details instantly.

 

So Reliance Jio has introduced one more feature for its feature phone users. The company has made clear that the feature phone is a major part of its future strategy.
