Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness, remake of the English web series Luther. It is a psychological crime drama series that revolves around a psycho killer that abducts and kills. The original series Luther was also a crime drama starring Idris Elba as the lead.
It is a six-episode dark crime drama involving graphic crime scenes and chaotic situations that will make it a complete thriller. Crimes are happening around the city, and officer Rudra- Ajay’s character is called to take charge. From the trailer, it seems that he is coming back on his cop duties and a special detective after a gap as this particular case requires the expertise of special officer Rudra.
The series has a decent and talented star cast and is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar.

The webseries being the first one of Ajay Devgn on an OTT platform, has high expectations, and people are excited to watch him on the OTT platform for the first time, But apart from Ajay Devgn, the show has nothing. The dark background, the unnecessary graphic violence and the discomfort in the series are not just inside but outside too.
The script is not strong enough to hold the plot, and the movie falls from high expectations to grim reality.
