This is literally one of the best thriller movies I have ever seen. Throughout the movie, I was sitting at the edge of my couch, unable to grasp what would come next. So here’s the story. After losing their baby, a couple decided to adopt a kid. They went to an orphanage and brought a 9-year-old home. However, mysterious things started happening with their other two kids. The couple then discovered a disturbing past related to the adopted girl.

2. Shutter Island

Shutter Island is a psychological thriller film based on a novel by Laeta Kalogridis of the same name. The movie starts with Deputy US Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner Chuck Aule going to Shutter Island. The island holds Ashecliffe Hospital, a special psychiatric hospital for mentally unstable criminals. Teddy and Chuck are called to solve the case of a missing patient, Rachel Solando, who has previously drowned her three children to death. Soon, Teddy finds the shocking truth about the place.

However, one day, Michael goes to deliver a pizza to a bungalow, and that event changes his life. He witnesses things he could have never imagined in his worst dreams.

He then befriends Pandit Omkar Nath Dhar, a chess player in a wheelchair, who was also mourning the loss of his daughter. But soon, Danish found that the daughter of Pandit was killed.

Psychological thriller is my absolute favourite genre for movies. Until the very last moment, you don’t know what will come. Here’s one more movie like that. Start is an arrogant and dishonest New York Publicist who is having an extramarital affair. One day, he goes to a public phone booth to call his lover. After ending the call, the phone rings again, and Stuart picks up the call. On the other side, there was a gunman with a sniper who asked him not to cut the cal; otherwise, his life would be in danger. To prove this, the gunman fires a shot at the pinpoint accuracy near Stuart.

6. Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru

When I say that Tollywood thriller is on the next level, I truly mean it. The movie starts with Deepak, an ex-police officer, narrating the story of his last unsolved case, in which he even lost one leg. A couple died under mysterious circumstances, and Deepak was assigned to the case. However, he never thought that this case would end his police career. It is truly one of the best thriller movies on Amazon Prime with crime drama.

Kathir and Meera are in a deep, loving relationship, but things take a turn when Kathir start receiving private videos of Meera from an unknown source. Determined to find the truth and the sender, Kathir decided to get to the root of the issue. Trust me, the film is not as regular as it seems to be. If you don’t believe me, watch it for yourself.

10. All The Old Knives

Veteran agent Henry Pelham and his former lover and colleague Celia Harrison are assigned to capture the mole.

11. Goodnight Mommy

She is drunk most of the time, lashing out at them, doesn’t allow them to leave the house and doesn't even sing their favourite lullaby to them. Maybe she’s not their mother at all? Also, this film is a remake of an Australian movie of the same name.

However, Robyn does not have any problem with that unless she also observes some creepy things going on around the house.
