In the starting, you need to generate the Unique Porting Code by sending an SMS to 1900 in the format of Port space 10 digit mobile number. any customer from any state can send this SMS.

After sending the SMS, your operator will send a UPC to your mobile number with an expiry date. The MP code allotted to a subscriber shall be valid for 15 days from the time of the request.

After receiving the UPC code, visit the BSNL customer care center or the authorized retailer with that valid identity proof for porting your mobile number.

Now submit your MNP code and the valid proof.

Then the staff will submit your MNP data and your profile information in the digital KYC Sanchar by taking your live photograph and by entering new 4G SIM details in their database.

A new BSNL MNP 4G SIM card will be issued to you for activation of the same mobile number on changing the network.
