Some of the well established companies faced a sliding revenue due to their traditional approach and overpriced products in comparison to the available smartphones in industry. Samsung, once the undisputed king in the Indian market (mobiles) went on firing its senior executives for the lagging sales. Today, we have collected a list of Top 5 smartphone brands & companies which did brilliant last year. The rating is based on the most ‘talked about’, ‘demanded’ and buzzed about products in India. It do not, in any sense, have an association with the revenue of the corresponding company.
5. One Plus
Some may disagree but as a matter of fact this smartphone manufacturing company did like anything while launching the whole invite system in India. The popularity of the phone immediately sprang to the level that some guys started selling the invites in exchange of some money. Media was filled with the product and Amazon worked as a slingshot for the company.
4. Samsung
One a king slipped to this position due to the fact that still the products still looks overpriced given the fact that other comapanies are providing better features in the same price range. Its most popular J7, J5 and more.

While other brands were boasting on their specially bred products, Micromax kept on releasing awesome smartphones with amazing targeting and value-for-money factors. Micromax Canvas, Yu Yureka went way beyond the expectations of even Micromax and it established the trademark of suiting all genres and flavours of the market.

Lenovo was fine and was working pretty well till it made its grand entry with Lenovo K3 Note, A7000 and other flagship mobiles. The sales went skyrocket and the phone lovers went crazy over the amazing specifications and feature. It gained a lot of media attention as well.

No doubt in that, the company entered and broke the established bars of traditional market ways. Flash Sale was observed and millions of products were sold out in a few seconds. Not only this, the brand, within a year of its entry in the Indian subcontinent, tied-up with Airtel store for the offline store sale. Guys used tricks, techniques, waited for hours just to get the Mi products in their cart. The products which ruled the market were Redmi 1s, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Mi 3, Redmi Note Prime was just as awesome as it goes with its name.
