You need Ingredients like cooked basmati rice, 2 tablespoon oil, red chillies, carrot, cabbage, soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, spring onion green part, spring onion white part, etc.

Step 1

First is to soak 1 cup of basmati rice in water for 15 mins. Take a sauce pan and add 4 cups of water.

Step 2

Next is to add drained rice and mix it well in low medium flame! Transfer to a colander drain water completely. Make sure to spread it over a plate.

Step 3

After this, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add the following things: 1 teaspoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon spring onions white part and 2 small red chillies.

Step 4

Fry it properly and then, add 1/4 cup onion, 1/2 cup carrot, 1/2 cup cabbage, 1/4 cup capsicum. Now, saute for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5

Add 1/2 teaspoon soya sauce, 1 and 1/2 tablespoon schezwan sauce, 1teaspoon chilli sauce, 1/4 teaspoon rice vinegar, 1/2teaspoon pepper, 1/4teaspoon sugar, and salt.

Step 6

Next is to add 2 cups of rice and give a quick mix. Add 1 tablespoon of spring onion green part. Mix it properly! Your Veg Schezwan Fried Rice is ready!
