Quick Masala Dosa Recipe in 30 Minutes Only

1 batch of dosa batter, 4 large potatoes, 2 tablespoons ghee, 10 fresh curry leaves, 1 onion, cumin seeds, 2 green chillies, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, and 3 tablespoons fresh coriander.

Step 1

The first step is to melt ghee in a frying pan and add the curry leaves and cumin seeds. Now, add chopped onions and chillies.

Step 2

The second step is to add cubed potatoes and the turmeric. Fry for at least 5-7 minutes. You can now add just enough water to cover. Simmer the potatoes until cooked.

Step 3

Next is to add fresh coriander and salt and pepper to taste. After this, use a frying pan over medium heat. You can pour about 150ml of batter.

Step 4

Both Dosa sides will begin to brown and move away from the pan after a few minutes. Use ½ tablespoon of the oil around the edges of the dosa.

Step 5

You can add masala dosa filling to the centre of the dosa. When it is browned from both sides, roll it up or fold it in half to serve.
