Hyderabadi Biryani Chicken Recipe: Easiest Biryani EVER

3 cups basmati rice, large chicken pieces, garlic paste, garam masala, 1 red chili powder, 1 cup deep fried crispy onions, ghee for cooking, minced ginger, 1 cup plain yogurt, etc.

Step 1

Take a bowl and combine chicken with other ingredients for the chicken marinade. After this, Heat 3 tbsp of ghee and oil on a medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add all marinated chicken pieces and start frying it for 5-7 minutes. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked. Add ½ cup of water.

Step 3

Now, add oil, black cumin seeds and salt. Add rice but do not mix. You can boil it and cook for 10 minutes. Take it out and drain it in a colander.

Step 4

Take a large pot to add cooked chicken, rice, ¼ cup of fried onions and half chopped cilantro mint. Add another half of the chicken layer, fried onions, cilantro and mint.

Step 5

Now, it's time to switch off the flame after 10 minutes and let it rest for 20 minutes before you serve. Your Hyderabadi Biryani is ready!
