¾ cup Water, Sugar, Salt, ½ teaspoon Citric acid, 1 cup Besan, ½ inch Ginger, ½ teaspoon Baking soda, Sesame seeds, coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon Coconut, and Green chilies.
Take a bowl and add water, sugar, salt, hing, turmeric powder and citric acid. Whisk it properly! Shift the besan into the prepared water using a strainer.
Cover the bowl with a plate for 10 minutes. After this, add oil and whisk again for a minute. Next is to add ginger-green chili paste and mix it well!
Add around a glassful of water to the steamer. Add the rack in the center, cover it with a lid and bring the water to a simmer on medium heat.
Next is to add baking soda and then, pour the batter into the greased pan. Remove the pan from the streamer after 15 minutes.
Start tempering by heating the oil in a pan. Add mustard seed, including sesame seeds. Add curry leaves and green chilies.and fry for 30 seconds.
Add water, salt, sugar and lemon juice. Let the water come to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. Pour over the khaman dhokla evenly using a large ladle.
