1 cup Basmati Rice, 2Hard Boiled Eggs, Onion Finely Sliced, Ginger Garlic Paste, Dried Bay Leaves, Garam Masala Powder, Thick Curd, Bay Leaves, Green Cardamom, Cloves, and 1.5 tablespoon Oil.
The first step is to wash and soak 1 cup of Basmati rice in 2 cups of water. Take a heavy pan, heat 1.5 tablespoon oil.
Now, add 1 green cardamom, 2 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks and 1 dried bay leaf. Add 1-2 slit cut green chillies and fry for a minute.
Next is to add 1 large onion finely chopped and then, fry on medium flame. Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add 1 small tomato and cook for 2-3 mins on medium heat. Add ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, ½ tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder and ½ teaspoon garam masala powder.
Now, add 2 tablespoons of thick curd. Mix it properly! Add ¼ cup each of finely chopped mint and coriander leaves. Cook for at least 1 minute.
Add the 2 cups of water used to soak the rice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and add salt. When the rice is cooked, drop the 2 hard-boiled eggs into the water.
The next step is to add the soaked basmati rice to the boiling water. Cook on medium flame for 4-5 mins covered. Keep it closed for another 10-15mins.
