Delicious ‘Tandoori Momos’ in a Pan: Ready in 20 Minutes

Step 1

In a large bowl, take some maida, salt and oil.

Step 2

Add water and knead to make a soft dough. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.

Step 3

For the filling, heat some oil in a pan and add garlic and chopped onion.

Step 4

Now add some grated carrots and cabbage. Saute well and add salt, pepper and coriander. Mix well and let it cool down.

Step 5

Knead the dough once again and form small balls. Then, roll the balls to form small circles.

Step 6

Place the filling inside these circles and pleat the edges slowly.

Step 7

Steam the momos for 10 minutes.

Step 8

For tandoori marination, put some curd in a bowl and mix with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, lemon juice, oil, and salt.

Step 9

Cover the steamed momos with paste and let them marinate for 1 hour.

Step 10

Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated momos. Roast them well on all sides.

Step 11

Now, place some red hot charcoal in the centre and add ghee to it. Cover the pan with a lid for 2-3 minutes to infuse the aroma into the momos.

Step 12

Enjoy the hot and spicy tandoori momos with chilli sauce and tandoori mayonnaise.
