Take yoghurt in a bowl. Then add gram flour (besan), red chilli powder, turmeric and salt in it.
Mix it well, making sure there are no lumps. Pour some water into the besan mix and set the bowl aside.
Now, heat some ghee in a pan and add curry leaves, hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, saunf, methi, bay leaf, cloves and cardamom.
Add some chopped green chillies and ginger as well.
Pour the besan mixture into the pan. Mix well and boil it for 30 minutes.
For the tempering, heat some ghee. Then add dried red chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and red chilli powder to it.
Take the kadhi in a bowl and temper it with the chilli ghee mixture. Garnish it with fresh coriander.
Enjoy the delicious Gujarati Kadhi with rice or roti.
