Take a bowl of leftover rice. You can also cook a fresh batch of white rice for this recipe.
Pour a little oil into a pan and roast some peanuts in it. When the peanuts turn golden brown, take them out in a bowl.
Now add oil again to the pan. Add asafoetida (hing), mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Then, add curry leaves, chillies, and ginger.
Then add some turmeric, salt, and a little water. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Add the prepared rice and roasted peanuts to the pan. Pour some lemon juice on top and enjoy a delicious, savoury meal.
