Step 1

Take besan in a bowl.

Step 2

Add salt, ajwain, jeera, hing, garam masala, red chilli powder and turmeric to the besan. Mix well.

Step 3

Now, finely chop some veggies like tomato, onion, capsicum, ginger, coriander and green chillies.

Add the veggies and a little water to the besan. Mix well to make a thin batter.

Step 5

Heat a nonstick pan and pour some batter on it. Spread well.

Step 6

Let it cook for a while. Then, add a little oil to the besan chilla. You can also add paneer or aloo stuffing.

Step 7

Flip it again and cook both sides until light brown.

Step 8

Apply desi ghee on top and garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy the delicious besan chilla recipe anytime you want.
