Take mashed boiled potatoes in a bowl.
Add chopped green chillies, grated ginger, amchur, fresh coriander, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt.
Mix well the potatoes and spices. Check the seasoning as per your taste.
In a large bowl, add besan or gram flour.
Then add carrom seeds (ajwain), red chilli powder, turmeric, hing, garam masala, salt and baking soda.
Pour some water and make a medium-consistency batter. Add some hot oil to the batter and mix well.
Now, take a bread slice and spread the mashed potatoes evenly on it. Cover it with another bread slice. Cut the stuffed bread in half.
Dip the stuffed bread into besan batter and fry it until it becomes crispy and light golden brown.
Serve the hot and delicious break pakoras with green chutney and tomato sauce.
