Crispy South Indian ‘Rava Dosa’ at Home

Step 1

Take a bowl and add rava (sooji), rice flour and maida to it.

Step 2

Add curd, salt, ginger, cumin, pepper, curry leaves, coriander, chopped onion and green chillies.

Step 3

Pour some water and make a thin batter with it. Let the dosa batter rest for 20-30 minutes.

Step 4

Heat some oil in a pan and add curry leaves, hing, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

Step 5

Now add some boiled, mashed potatoes, chopped tomatoes and onion to the pan.

Step 6

Add some other spices like garam masala, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric and mix well.

Step 7

Heat a nonstick pan and pour the rava dosa batter on it. Add a little oil on top.

Step 8

Cook on a low flame for a while.

Step 9

Then flip it and add the potato stuffing to it. Fold the dosa and cook till it turns crispy and golden brown.

Step 10

Enjoy the delicious Rava Dosa at home with tomato or coconut chutney.
