Creamy and Yummy Kheer Recipe in 30 Minutes

4 cups milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup raw rice, 1 tablespoon mixed nuts, 1/8 teaspoon cardamom powder, and 8 strands saffron.

Step 1

The first step is to soak 1/4 cup raw rice in water till immersing level. Make sure to soak it for at least 30 minutes. Keep it aside!

Step 2

Take a large pot and add 4 cups of milk, boil it for 5 minutes and keep stirring. You can now add soaked, drained rice to the milk. Mix it well!

Step 3

Next is to add 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron. Remember to simmer until the kheer becomes thick.

Step 4

Mash the rice properly and before adding 1 tablespoon chopped mixed nuts. After this, add 1 teaspoon rose water and switch off.

Step 5

Rice Kheer is ready guys! You can either serve it hot or cold.
