4 medium sized amla/gooseberry, 1/2 inch ginger, 1/2 medium sized lemon, 2 cups water, 5 nos, whole black pepper, and salt to taste.
First, rinse the gooseberries/amlas well and remove all the wedges. You need to chop the wedges into small pieces and transfer to a bowl.
Add chopped amla into a mixer jar and add 5 nos whole pepper, salt to taste and 1/2 inch ginger piece. You can even add sugar.
