Paytm has been touching social issues in its recent ads, from an earlier ad where a relative transfer a few Paytm bucks to this ad which shows the dream of every common man in India, Paytm has been glowing a step ahead in terms of brand projection while connecting itself to social dreams.
Here, in this new ad, Paytm has shown what a cashless nation would be. More or less, what a cashless & corruption-less nation would be. There are 3 parts in the ads. First part shows a typical Sharmaji-Guptaji Govt. official stereotype taking ‘vada-paw’ as a token of friendship, not as a bribe. Second part shows a traffic police constable and the third part goes with the donation scene in an Indian education institute, where the donation actually is a box full of books.
The ad is touching and is successful in propagating the brand proposition (which is Paytm Wallet) taking the date of release as Indian Independence Day. have a look at the ad :
