All-purpose flour, Sugar, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Cocoa Powder, Milk, Egg, Melted Butter, and Vanilla Extract.

Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa powder.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Pour the liquid ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined.

Step 4

Preheat a griddle or nonstick pan to medium.

Step 5

For every pancake, transfer ¼ cup of batter onto the griddle. If desired, you can incorporate chocolate chips into the batter.

Step 6

Cook until the pancake's edges begin to set, and bubbles begin to form on the surface.

Step 7

Remove the pancakes from the griddle, stack them on a platter, and drizzle them with chocolate syrup.
