Take deep breaths. Inhale from the nose and exhale from the mouth. Focus on the breaths and feel your lungs expanding and contracting.
Drink cold water, sip by sip, and feel the coldness on your tongue and throat.
Think of something funny, or talk to someone. Don’t keep looping the same thing in mind, which is causing you anxiety.
Talk out loud about what’s bothering you. Maybe write down whatever you are thinking and feeling at the moment.
Acknowledge your surroundings. Focus on something and observe how it looks, what its colour is, or maybe how it tastes.
Do some chores or actvities which require a lot of energy. Maybe clean the house, run in the park, or just dance your heart out.
