1- Write it down

Write what’s bothering you on a piece of paper. Put down a line or fill the paper. Hold it in your hands and look at it carefully. Then, tear it into a million pieces and flush them down.

2- Cold shower

Feel the cold water on your skin and imagine it taking all your worries and stress away. You can even put your feet in cold water for a while and touch some water behind your earlobes.

3- Laugh at the places you cried

Go to the places which you avoid due to stressful past related to it. Do things that you stopped doing because you got some bad memory related to it. Change the narrative my dear!

4- Rewrite the story

It’s your life and you can create any story you want. Take a piece of paper and write down the old story in a new way which is happier and peaceful for your mind.

5- Throw out the ‘Must’ thought

Find out the thoughts in your head which includes ‘Must’. Write the thought on a piece of paper with ‘Must’ in it and then strike out the whole thought. Give a laugh and throw the paper out.

6- Do something nice for someone else

When we do something nice for other person, we automatically feel good from inside. We forget about our own stress and worries and focus on the feeling of peace inside us.

7- Do some laundry

Doing laundry is an effective way to calm mind and the running thoughts. We also feel a sense of accomplishment which then makes us feel more content.

Honey is not only good for the health and skin, but also fights of anxiety and depression. Take a spoonful of honey and slurp it down.
