1 cup Yellow Split Moong Dal, ½ cup Ghee, 1 cup Sugar, 2 cups Milk, 1 tsp Cardamom Powder, and Saffron a pinch.
The first step is to wash and soak moong dal for 4 hours. Drain it and take it in a blender.
Next is to take milk, sugar in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. After this, turn off the heat. You can add saffron and cardamom.
You can now heat ghee in a nonstick pan. Mix the moong dal properly!
Keep cooking these items until the mixture gets dry. It will take around 30-35 minutes. Next is to add milk mixture and mix well. Enjoy your Moong Dal Ka Halwa!
