Mango Icecream Recipe: Cool Down with a Scoop of Sunshine

2+¼ cup milk, ½ cup sugar, 8 saffron strands, 1 cup mango puree, 1 cup whipping cream, ½ cup fresh mango chunks, and ½ cup store bought condensed milk.

Step 1

Take a non-stick saucepan and set over a medium heat. Add milk and sugar and mix it well. After this, add saffron strands and give it a mix.

Step 2

Now, keep stirring the mixture till it thickens. Take it off the heat and transfer all the ingredients into a bowl after 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

After this, add mango puree to it, mix it properly and keep it aside. Take another bowl and whip the whipping cream till soft peaks.

Step 4

You can now fold the whipped cream easily with the mango mixture and mix them. Fold the mango chunks into it and pour the mixture into a container

Step 5

The final step is to cling wrap the container. Make sure to freeze it for 6-8 hours.
