Take the potatoes and rinse them well in water.
Peel the potatoes using a sharp peeler.
Now, slice the potatoes with 1 cm thickness. You can even cut the upper and bottom portions to get the perfect rectangle-shaped french fries.
Then, cut the potatoes into slices with 1 cm thickness.
Rinse the potato sticks a few times. Soak them in salt water for 30-45 minutes, then put them in the fridge.
Rinse the potato sticks once again and dry them with a soft cloth. Let them dry completely before frying.
Deep fry the potato sticks in batches for 3-4 minutes each. Do not let them turn golden-brown.
Again deep fry the potato sticks for a second round. Then, remove excess oil.
Sprinkle some salt, herbs, rosemary, paprika, or chilli flakes on top. Trust me, you will forget the McDonald’s French fries after eating this.
