Ingredients

1 kg Chicken, 1tbsp Chilli Powder, 2 tsp Turmeric Powder, ½ cup Yogurt, 2tbsp Lemon Juice, 2 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder, 4 large Tomatoes, 1 Capsicum, 5 tbsp Oil, etc.

Step 1

Cut chicken into small pieces and mix it with the marination ingredients and set aside for 30 mins. Now, put all these items in a Pressure cooker.

Step 2

Add a cup of water and mix it properly! Cover and pressure cook for 2 whistles and cook for at least 8-10 minutes.

Step 3

Turn off the heat and start heating oil in Kadai. Add in fennel, cumin, cinnamon, onions, and salt. After this, add capsicum and tomatoes to start cooking.

Step 4

Your next step is to add in the spice powders and mix well. Now, add ketchup, soy sauce and green chilli sauce. Start mixing it well!

Step 5

Add in the cooked chicken with any liquid and mix well. Remember to simmer this for 15 minutes. You can add coriander leaves, too.

Step 6

Finally! Serve this Family Favourite food on weekends. You can eat it with naan and ghee rice.
