Amazon has been known for redirecting the online shopping to the new dimensions of growth and integration. It is not just because of brand but number of products, quality, delivery and customer support which makes Amazon India as a pioneer in Indian ecommerce space. However there has been an inadvertent step which has been taken by company without any prior notice which has left all of the customers in shock. The delivery part of this brilliantly managed company has been altered and the company is now charging a few more bucks over the traditional zero delivery system. Hence there would not be further Free Delivery on products purchased via Amazon.

Here is the list of changes which company has decided to make :

The step is very bold and brave indeed. But despite of knowing about the heavy competition from Flipkart and Snapdeal, why did Amazon took this step?

The answer is Forecasting. Amazon has forecasted one thing that it would not be possible to keep giving free delivery on the products less than Rs.499 for a longer run. So in order to avoid heavy loss of costumer base and money in future, Amazon took this step now for the long run. This would save the money on delivery and we can probably see more discounts on the products.

Anyways best of luck Amazon. For more details you can visit here.
