     The name should say Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive “Desktop”
     if it is an external powered. I just checked the WD site. The CC guys are stupid i feel. I have ordered one. Lets hope i will get what i am expecting

   I confirmed with Cromaa customer care and the person assured me that its a Portable Hard disk with NO power required. Moreover the size in specification has been mentioned as 2.5 ” which implies its a portable disk. I have ordered one, will update once I receive the shipment. Thanks FKM !

   Earlier comment is right.
   2.5 inch means it is portable small HDD which works with USB power.

   Generally HDD that needs external power one has size 3.5 inch.

   So definitely worth a deal.
   Looks like someone from Chroma entered the 1000′s place digit wrong.

    Earlier it was listed for 3994/-.
    The next morning they realized its too less.
    So Chroma removed the listing.
    Now again they enabled it with new price of 4494/-

    just booked this product from Croma, although it was displaying the new rates of 4494 but when i co on checkout it displayed the product is already in your cart and to my surprise it booked on Rs. 3994.00 old rates

    Yes, Seagate and WD give 3 years warranty.
    Seagate earlier used to give 5 years, but since late 2009, they decided to make it 3 years uniform for all hard disks.
